REVR V5 - I watched YouTube reviews by multiple high reputation metal detecting (an adjacent, outdoor, gear-centric, tech-savvy hobby) channels. Their unanimous top recommendations led me to choose the REVR V5 from among numerous competing brands/models. The "Back to School" price & near-local pickup site also helped.
Quality components & excellent fit & finish. Zero rattles or extraneous noises. Extra hot weather has limited my riding time but, so far, my only complaint is the reversed brakes. This is the first 2-wheeler of ANY type I've ever ridden with the front brake on the left & the rear brake on the right. I'm not especially hopeful, but I'm going to try to get these reversed. Also, it's an 85 lb bike with 4" wide tires. Don't expect to slalom parking lot wheel stops. The payoff for that is an extremely comfortable smooth ride. Note that the battery charger doesn't work at all in any of my GFI-grounded outlets. But it's fine in regular outlets.
I'd planned to remove the 10-lb battery & "quick release" front wheel to pack my V5 into my Subaru Forester. The shop's sales/cashier said his tech found it NOT simple/easy to remove/replace the front wheel. So, I won't do it unless absolutely necessary.
A few days ago, I was camping, and a friend brought a REVR V5 electric bike. I've always been curious about e-bikes, but there are so many brands and prices on the market. He touted this bike as "the best quality affordable bike on the market." I loved that answer. He let me and others test ride the V5 bikes, and the results were amazing. I was blown away by how much fun it was, and I knew right away I had to buy one. So I saw the new V5 PRO on the REVR website. As you can see, it comes in two colorways for me and one for my wife. We rode it to a friend's house for dinner that weekend and had a blast. The bike feels sturdy, and all the parts are solid, and the quality is truly high. Watching videos of these bikes on YouTube doesn't really tell the full story. Riding one is the real way to experience it. I highly recommend REVR.

He absolutely loves it. He can push speeds up to 28 mph downhill while pedaling. It's so much fun!! It's been a very reliable bike for us, and we've received so many compliments. Thanks to the 4" fat tires, it handles pretty well on off-road and gravel trails!! I was able to ride it all the way from Stillwater to East St. Paul and back, which is at least 14 miles, so nearly 30 miles round trip. The customer service is also fantastic... they're very responsive, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and we look forward to using this bike for a long time!!
The REVR V5 electric bike is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable way to get around! We live in a remote area with very poor roads. Whether you're climbing steep hills or riding on smooth roads, it provides the perfect assist. The battery life is excellent. I've been searching for an all-terrain electric bike for a while now, and after doing a lot of research, I finally chose the Revr. My V5 Pro is fantastic, easily accelerating to the speed I want. I rode it from Brooklyn to Long Island at 23 to 25 mph, all on a full charge. I once rode from Brooklyn to the Rockaways in 38 minutes. This bike is fantastic, with incredibly responsive brakes. I highly recommend it. It's fantastic. I've even taken it shopping and carried several heavy bags without issue, and it handles the weight perfectly.
The REVR V5PRO is an excellent e-bike for both road and mountain biking. It offers excellent battery life and plenty of power, making it easy to get going with just pedal assistance and the throttle. It's also incredibly easy to use. I give it an A+.
